Dear Young Adults and Parents of Young Adults,
The daylight hours are getting shorter and the temperature is starting to drop. Before long the beauty of the changing leaves will be very noticeable. For a number of different reasons, the fall months are my favorite time of year. God is Good all the time and His blessings are truly overwhelming. I have been blessed beyond measure, in ways I would never have imagined. God has also blessed me with the opportunity to serve in a wonderful church that loves Him and desires to see others come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. I have also been given the opportunity and privilege to work with young adults, teenagers, and children. It is my heart’s desire to teach them about the Lord and help them mature in their Christian faith.
First, God has blessed me with a loving, godly wife and on October 3rd of this month we will celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. I thank her for the sacrifices she makes to put her family first, for being my best friend, a wonderful mother, and my partner in ministry.
God has blessed me with individuals who have stepped up to the plate to help with our youth ministry. We have a total of four students and four adults serving on this year’s youth ministry council. We recently returned from a trip to Caswell where we spent the weekend evaluating our youth ministry, discussing our vision, plans, and goals for the future. This was truly an exciting time. Much was accomplished and the Lord worked in a great way!
Please continue to pray for our young adults, teenagers, and children as we seek to glorify God. If you feel lead to help in any way, please contact me.
In Christ,
